His Tempting Angel

I don’t know why I bothered putting my wish on the Christmas tree in Wildwood Square. Nobody is going to help me. I don’t know anybody in town and i’ve got no friends or family left. I’m on my own.
Until the grumpiest, hottest man I’ve ever seen cards me in a bar and offers me a job. All I have to do is remember that all he offered me is a job. I need to keep my heart to myself.

Maximillian:
She’s the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen in my life and as soon as I saw her putting her wish on that tree, I knew that I had to find her, help her. I’ve never seen a more desperate woman in my life.
But I have to remember that I can’t have her. She’s too sweet, too innocent, too pure for an old, scarred grump like me. As a retired firefighter, I’ve seen my share of dangerous situations. But nothing like her. She’s a flame that calls to me, beckons me. If I get too close though, I’m gonna get burned. Because there’s no way that a beautiful, young woman could ever want to tie herself to a damaged old man like me.
But can a little Christmas magic and a holiday wish find us the one thing that both of us are missing…someone to love?
